Dear Friends:
I want to thank you for looking at our website. At Manzano Baptist we have always wanted the message of the Bible to be clear and simple. The Bible tells us that we are all sinners and alienated from God because of our Sin. ( Romans 3:10-13, 23) Because we are sinners we cannot save ourselves and the Father had to send the Son of God, Jesus Christ, to take our sins upon Himself and die in our place of the cross. ( Isaiah 53: 5-6; Romans 5:8; II Corinthians 5:21). The Bible tells us that eternal salvation is available only through a personal response of faith in the shed blood of Jesus, without any works on our part. (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:12; I Peter 1:18-19; Titus 3:5-7) Salvation is received as a gift from God (Romans 6:23) and no church affiliation, good deeds, or religious ritual or tradition will ever get us to heaven. Only Jesus alone can save your soul ( John 14:6) I hope that you have trusted Christ as your personal savior. Christ Kids Club is at 6:30 every Wednesday during the school year. Kids enjoy games, a Bible lesson, Bible memory, and a hearty snack! Call the church for transportation. Resuming on 9/8/21!
